Wind Adventures is committed to sharing knowledge and raising awareness among children about the protection of marine mammals.
We organize educational tours dedicated to the observation and preservation of cetaceans.
During these excursions, participants learn about:
Marine conservation and how human activity impacts ocean life
The biology and behavior of cetaceans
Photo-identification techniques used by researchers
Observation and field notes, helping to contribute to local monitoring programs
Our goal is to inspire the next generation to respect and protect marine life while discovering the beauty of the sea.
To better understand whale behavior, participative science plays a key role.
At Wind Adventures, we actively collect valuable data during our outings, including:
the number of individuals observed
their gender and the presence of calves
specific behaviors
fluke (tail) identification photos
and the geographical position of sightings
All this information contributes to scientific research and helps experts better understand the behavior of whales and the ecological importance of the Anguilla Bank as part of their habitat.
Join us in protecting the whales and dolphins of the Anguilla Bank by supporting our Whale Research Program.
Your donations directly contribute to:
Photo-identification of individual whales
Recording and analyzing whale and dolphin communication (hydrophone data collection and maintenance)
Biopsy sampling to study health and genetics
Awareness and education programs promoting cetacean protection
Every contribution helps researchers and local guides work together to understand and preserve these incredible marine mammals for future generations.
