St. Martin gets solid waves during the right swell windows — especially in the winter (Nov–March) when north swells hit the island. If you’re comfortable chasing reef setups and don’t mind a little adventure, this island delivers uncrowded, punchy waves — and sometimes even barrels: Wilderness, Friar’s bay, Le Galion, Cupecoy, Mullet bay.
